Energie Cottbus star Dimitar Rangelov has claimed that he rejected the chance to move to The Premier League this summer.
The Bulgarian has just left Cottbus, who have been relegated to the second tier of German football, to join Borussia Dortmund on a four-year deal.
The striker has declared that he snubbed three Bundesliga sides, as well as various English clubs, in order to move to the 1997 Champions League winners.
“I received offers from Hertha Berlin, Hamburg, Bochum and from several English clubs,” Rangelov claimed during his presentation.
“I am aware that I turned down the chance to play Europa League football, but I have no regrets. Joining Dortmund was my intention and I think I took the right decision.”
